What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a model that directly connects local farmers and eaters, allowing to share in the joys and realities of small-scale agriculture.
How does it work? At the beginning of the season, you sign up and pay for your share of the season’s vegetables. Your support helps us buy the seed, compost, and equipment we need for the year ahead. Then, we provide you with weekly baskets of fresh, organic, local produce all season long.

Why do our members sign up for Agricola's CSA year after year?
Here’s what they told us:
“Love you guys! So proud to get my veg from you – it’s always delicious. Love that it reduces my regular grocery shopping, love that I am supporting a cooperative… I love that I am doing one tiny thing to make the world a better and more sustainable place. ”
“I love how good the veggies taste (there is no doubt, they really are better than what I usually eat!) and how pretty the flowers are. I love bumping into friends and acquaintances at your stall—each week is different. I enjoy having a weekly ritual. “
“Such high quality! (This is my 3rd year with you). Perfect, convenient pick up location and schedule. I love the presentation of the pick up – the beauty fills me up.”
“The anticipation of seeing what is in the basket for the week. A perfect mix of variety of vegetables that inspired my cooking creativity. The swap box is brilliant, as are the recipes for that week’s veggies in the emails you send….I love my farm share and recommend you to everyone.”

“Being part of your CSA is an integral part of my summer! I can’t imagine going without it now. I love getting the freshest produce every week and getting to cook seasonally.”

Solidarity Shares
We offer a Solidarity Share program in order to increase access to local and organic food across income brackets. The goal of this program is to offer a percentage of our CSA shares at a reduced rate to lower-income members of our community.
In order to support this program, we are humbly requesting donations from CSA members and all supporters who are able to contribute financially to making local food more accessible for their neighbours. The cost of Solidarity Shares will divided between the participant, the farm, and community donations.
Notes from Solidarity Share participants:
“The vegetables were fresh and delicious. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.”
“Your love toward us was much felt through the weekly supply of fresh vegetables.”
“We would like to thank you so much for the vegetables that we received over the months. Firstly, it gave us the opportunity to discover new vegetables … Secondly, it has increased the variety of our diet and this has also improved our health.
We have had some days where the vegetables were all that we had to eat and they have particularly been lifesavers on those days. Sometimes we have the privilege of sharing these vegetables with others. This experience always gladdens our hearts.”
